Arrival – Negombo

Day 01

You will be welcomed by Y.Planet representative at the airport before you are transferred to Negombo Beach Hotel. After checking in at the hotel, you will go on an afternoon city tour of Negombo. You will return to the hotel for dinner and overnight at hotel.

Negombo - Kalpitiya

Day 02

After breakfast proceed to Kalpitiya. Kalpitiya is located 130 km north of the Bandaranayke International Airport in Katunayake, while it is an exquisite coastal region located in the Western coastal belt, north of Colombo. Kalpitiya is a peninsula set in between the deep lagoon of Puttalam to the east and the magnificent Indian Ocean to the west. It is an unrivalled marine sanctuary with a diversity of habitats ranging from bar reefs, flat coastal plains, saltpans, mangrove swamps, salt marshes and vast sand dune beaches. Overnight stay at Kalpitiya.

Kalpitiya - Anuradhapura Via Wilpattu National Park

Day 03

Breakfast at the hotel will be followed by a visit to Wilpattu National Park. Having Safari ride in the wilderness, Wilpattu sanctuary was decalred as a National Park in 1938, Wilpattu National Park is located on the west coast close to the historical city of Anuradhapura .The dry zone jungle is thickly grown. Wilpattu Natonal Park is home for many villus.There are approximately 30 species of mammals in the Wilpattu National Park which include the Sri Lankan Elephant, Sri Lankan Leopard, Lankan Sloth Bear, Sri, Spotted Deer, Buffalo, Sambar and Mongoose. We will check in at the hotel before an afternoon will have exploration around Sacred City of Anuradhapura. The ruins of Anuradhapura are one of South Asia’s most evocative sights. The sprawling complex contains a rich collection of archaeological and architectural wonders: enormous dagobas (brick stupas), ancient pools and crumbling temples, built during Anuradhapura’s thousand years of rule over Sri Lanka. Today, several of the sites remain in use as holy places and temples; frequent ceremonies give Anuradhapura a vibrancy that’s a sharp contrast to the museum-like ambience at Polonnaruwa. Anuradhapura - Jaffna

Day 04

After breakfast at the hotel. On the way to Jaffna, we will explore the remaining ruins of sacred city of Anuradhapura we missed yesterday. After that, we proceed to Jaffna. Jaffna, the main city of Jaffna district (until the year 1824, the district was called Waligama) of the Northern Province is located in the northernmost peninsula of Sri Lanka. The Jaffna district is one of the 25 districts organized into the nine provinces, an artificial creation of the Colonial British (1815-1948) for the purposes of administration of the Island of Sri Lanka, then called Ceylon. We have the Jaffna city tour and sightseeing of top Jaffna tourist attractions. Overnight at Jaffna.

Jaffna - Trincomalee

Day 05

We depart for Trincomalee after breakfast. On the way to Trinco we will visit the war zone of sri lanaka and ruins of war and some LTTE camps. Trincomalee, one of the finest natural deep-water harbours in the world is located 257 km north-east of Colombo, which is considered as the commercial hub of Sri Lanka. Trincomalee is home to the fine beaches of Nilaveli, Uppuveli and the off-shore Pigeon Island. Recently Trincomalee has become popular as a Whale Watching destination as well. The Dive centres at Nilaveli and Uppuveli offer touriststhe opportunity to enjoy their holidays in diving, snorkeling and swimming. The Trincomalee district, referred as Gokanna or Gokarna in the historical chronicles and inscriptions, is studded with a multitude of ruins of ancient Buddhist temples and is considered a major Buddhist cultural and archaeological site of Sri Lanka. The seven hot springs at Kanniya located a mere 8km from Trincomalee attract regular crowds throughout the year in view of the therapeutic properties of the water as well as the varying temperatures from one well to the other. Trincomalee - Habarana

Day 06

After breakfast, you will have a visit remaining Trincomalee top tourist attractions. Afterwards proceed to Habarana. This small town is not a destination in itself, but it serves as a good base for Sigiriya and safaris to Minneriya and Kaudulla National Parks. After check in to the hotel will climb the Sigiriya Rock Fortress. Overnight at Habarana.

Habarana - Polonnaruwa

Day 07

After breakfast, you will visit the second Kingdom Sri Lanka Polonnaruwa. Kings ruled the central plains of Sri Lanka from Polonnaruwa 800 years ago, when it was a thriving commercial and religious centre. The glories of that age can be found in the archaeological treasures that still give a pretty good idea of how the city looked in its heyday. You'll find the archaeological park a delight to explore, with hundreds of ancient structures – tombs and temples, statues and stupas – in a compact core. The Quadrangle alone is worth the trip. On the way back to hotel will visit Minneriya National Park. Overnight at Habarana

Habarana - Kandy

Day 08

After breakfast, you will proceed to Kandy, on route we will check up on Dambulla Cave Temple and Spice Garden in Matale. After reaching the city of Kandy we will visit the Sacred Tooth Relic and city tour of kandy. Afterwards check into hotel and dinner.

Kandy - Nuwara Eliya

Day 09

After breakfast, you will visit Royal Botinical Gardens In Peradeniya and travel to Nuwera Eliya. In Nuwera Eliya we will visit Strawberry Farm, Moon Plains, Victoria Park, Lake Gregory , Horton plains and pidurutalagala mountain etc. Overnight at Nuwera Eliya.

Nuwara Eliya - Ella

Day 10

After breakfast, will Travel to Ella. Welcome to everyone’s favourite hill-country village, and the place to ease off the travel accelerator with a few leisurely days resting in your choice of some of the country’s best guesthouses. The views through Ella Gap are stunning, and on a clear night you can even spy the subtle glow of the Great Basses lighthouse on Sri Lanka’s south coast. Don’t be too laid-back though; definitely make time for easygoing walks through tea plantations to temples, waterfalls and viewpoints. After building up a hiking-inspired appetite, look forward to Sri Lanka’s best home-cooked food and a reviving cuppa. Overnight at Ella.

Ella - Mirissa

Day 11

In the morning after a good night, sleep will travel to Mirissa. Crack open a coconut, slip into a hammock and rock gently in the breeze, allowing the hours, days and even weeks to slip calmly by. Welcome to Mirissa, a stunning crescent beach. Modest guesthouses abound and there is a string of simple restaurants at the back of the sand. The best sandy relaxation you dreamed of awaits here. Overnight at Mirissa with some night party.

Mirissa - Galle

Day 12

After breakfast will paddel to Galle. Galle is a jewel. A Unesco World Heritage Site, this historic city is a delight to explore on foot, an endlessly exotic old trading port blessed with imposing Dutch-colonial buildings, ancient mosques and churches, grand mansions and museums. Wandering its rambling lanes you'll pass stylish cafes, quirky boutiques and impeccably restored hotels owned by local and foreign artists, writers, photographers and designers. Relax and night at Galle.

Galle - Hikkaduwa

Day 13

Will be traveling to Hikka in the morning to visit Hikkaduwa Beach, lined with restaurants and bars, coral sanctuary, home of marine turtles and exotic fish and Gangarama Maha Vihara, is a Buddhist temple decorated with hand-painted murals. En - Route Madu River Safari for a peacefull mind. Night at Hikka beach hotel with some dj party.

Hikkaduwa - Colombo - Airport

Day 14

After breakfast, will take the costal train to colombo. Will have the Colombo City tour and off to Airport.
