Holiday Highlights

Airport – Negombo

Day 01

Through our representatives and transfer to Negombo is met arrival Bandaranaike International Airport. Afternoon city tour. Visit Fort none Netherlands, Holland Church, Holland Canal, fish market, Lagoon catamarans and other city site. Dinner and overnight in Negombo.

Negombo - Kandalama via Pinnawala

Day 02

After breakfast visit Kandy. On the road, turn right and continue in Warakapola Madeniya Village Road to Madeniya intersection about 05 miles. Kandalama

Day 03

After breakfast, go to Rama and was worthy of trekking in the jungle Aligala (Elephant Rock) cave. Sigiriya

Day 04

Day 05

Pitawala Nature Trail

Day 06

​Pitawala Pathana is a unique grassland of pathana type found in the Knuckles Conservation Forest, Sri Lanka. This patana has a great ecological value. In Pitawala Pathana a grass cover spreads over an area of about 10 ha of a gently sloping rock slab covered with just a thin soil layer. The turf grass of about 10 cm in height gives a velvety appearance to this sloping expanse of grassland. Isolated and scattered trees and shrubs could be seen. Many endemic plant and animal species are found.

Knuckles Forest Reserve

Day 07

​The Knuckles Mountain Range also called the Knuckles Massif; a bio-diversity hotspot located in the districts of Kandy and Matale in the Central Province of Sri Lanka. Situated at a height of over 3000 ft above sea level, covering a land area of approximately 21 ha it consists of five peaks; namely Kirigalpottha, Gombaniya, Knuckles, Koboneelagala and Dotulugala which form the shape of the knuckles in a clenched fist. The area situated above 1500 m was declared a climatic reserve in 1873 and a conservation forest in 2000, later a National Man & Biosphere Reserve and a World Heritage Site in 2009. It is today considered as one of South Asia’s important sites for the conservation of montane tropical forest habitats.

Matale

Day 08

After breakfast, visit Udawattekele protected areas. Trek in the temple looking for birds, trees and plants, creepers big cave, there are several varieties of kingfishers and gray leaf monkey, mouse deer and other animals swimming pool. Return to the city. Visit Kandy market, driving round the lake and visit the beauty of the park for the town of Wace. Lunch at the hotel.

KANDY

Day 09

​In the morning Kandy and Peradeniya Royal Botanical Gardens to see the 150-acre garden of more than 5,000 species of trees, plants and creepers. Victoria Randenigala Rantembe Sanctuary

Day 10

​Victoria Randenigala Rantambe Sanctuary is situated between the knuckles mountain range and the central mountains of Kandy. The size of this Sanctuary is 42,087 hectares .This Sanctuary was artificially created by people to protect Victoria reservoir, Randenigala reservoir and Rantambe Sanctuary which are three main hydro-electric reservoir of Sri lanka you can access this sanctuary via world famous hairpin bends or Raja mawatha . You can see herd of elephants in Victoria Randenigala Rantambe Sanctuary

Pidurutalagala

Day 11

​Pidurutalagala Mountain in Sri Lanka (literally translating to Straw Plateau Rock), which is also called Mount Pedro in in English is the tallest mountain on the island and situated in the Central Province, north – north east to the town of Nuwara Eliya . It is also the only ultra prominent peak of the island, and one of only 1515 ultra prominent peaks around the world. An ultra prominent peak is a mountain that has topographic prominence (height of the peak’s summit above the lowest contour line encircling it up to the highest summit) above 1500 meters. Mount Pedro has a prominence and elevation of 2524m (8281 feet) (8292 feet according to the Survey Department).

Nuwara Eliya

Day 12

After breakfast, hiking plains. Totupala one third highest mountain climbing, Sri Lanka (7741 feet). Then enter the National Park and walk (this is the only national park in Sri Lanka, visitors are allowed to walk) in the park, along the sidewalk to catch trout production. Horton Plains National Park

Day 13

Day 14

Trekkers would love the place. It’s bit tiring to do the hiking. But it is definitely worth it. Once you got to the summit you will realize why we said so. The panoramic views it provides with mist and cloud covering the area, especially in the early mornings and the late evenings are something you should witness and that would suffice enough to say that you visited Ella.

Colombo - Airport

Day 15

Colombo through the city and drive to take you to the downtown business district as well as tree-lined residential area of ​​Cinnamon Gardens.
